Jillian is eight months old! It is crazy how much she has grown and all the new things she is doing. She has just about mastered sitting on her own, probably a few more days and she will have it. She has four teeth, which caused Joe and I to get little sleep last weekend 
And she continues to be way super cute! We just love, love, love her!!!

Jillian loves looking at herself and whomever is holding her in the mirror. I thought it would be fun to put a mirror against the wall on the floor so Jillian good lay and look at it. She seemed to have fun and was fascinated with touching the mirror and smiling at herself.
Jillian is progressing to the phase where she is into everything. Right now she wants pretty much anything that someone else has. I bought her reading glasses in the dollar section of Target because she kept taking mine off my face and was fascinated by them. Now she had her own plastic pair to play with so mine do not accidentally get broken. Joe uses other tactics like allowing Jillian to play with old computer parts. It is precious watching her manipulate objects-slowly examining each and every part. Soon enough Jillian will embark on much more exciting adventures when she is sitting by herself and begins to crawl. Joe says he can not wait till she starts crawling. I think once this happens he may wish he did not say that
