Easter Weekend 2009
We had a lovely Easter weekend. Bob and Evie were here for the weekend and we had a wonderful visit with them. We went to Dominic’s for lunch on Saturday-yum! And on Sunday we went to church and then to Gran and Gramps’ for dinner. It was Jillian’s first Easter, she had a very cute dress, but soon after church threw up everywhere and ended up wearing her “Baby’s First Easter” onesie.
We are so thankful to God for our wonderful family. Next weekend we will have Easter with Dad and Sharon and Grandma and Papa, so we have another wonderful time to look forward to.
Praise be to God for his son, Jesus, who died for each of us and rose again!
7 Weeks Old Today
Miss Jillian is growing so fast. She must be over eight pounds now, but I do not know for sure. We have our next pediatrician appointment in a couple of weeks. I’m sure I will be surprised at how much she weighs by then. Some new born clothes are starting not to fit, which is good and sad at the same time. She is growing strong and healthy, but I miss her tinyness.
…Jillian sleeps a lot. It takes a lot of energy to eat and grow

So were the AIG fat cats right to take obscenely huge bonuses? Not really in my opinion. But did they break any laws? Check this exchange between Glenn Beck and Richard Blumenthal, the Attorney General in Connecticut.
Thanks BW
Today we received a small package from Baldwin-Wallace (BW) in the mail. For those that don’t know, I love BW, so I was eager to find out what was inside…
Jillian got some BW baby socks! The card congratulated us for the birth of our child and welcomed the newest member of the “Baldwin-Wallace family”. You may be wondering how BW knew we had a child, well, I updated information with the alumni office which sends out a quarterly magazine about BW and its students. At the end of the magazine there is a student section in which students can send in updates, like graduate studies, new job, marriage, etc and it gets printed. So, in the next magazine our marriage will be announced, including the BW alumni that were in our wedding party, as well as, Jillian’s birth. Thanks BW! We still owe on our student loans, but we got some socks
