We are truly blessed. We had (and have) so many people praying for our family, especially during the pregnancy and delivery of Jillian. Friends of Bob and Evie in North Carolina sent us a gift. They have never met us, but have been praying for us and Jillian. It is very touching to receive such a thoughtful card…Dear Joe and Sarabeth, We are dear friends of your parents, Bob and Evie. We have been praying for a safe and healthy baby and delivery for your precious Jillian. God is good all the time. We continue to wish and pray blessings as your family grows. Jillian went back for a weight check yesterday. She now weighs 5lbs 6oz.

It is hard for me to believe that it has already been a little over two weeks since Jillian was born. Joe and I love getting to know our little girl, we love her so much. She really is so sweet, I could snuggle her all day. We have had a few nights with little sleep, but it is absolutely worth it. In the two weeks since we have been home Jillian and I have not gotten far since the weather keeps us inside. I look forward to warmer weather and talking family walks (Kingsley can come too, I guess). Life with Jillian is so good. I still keeping thinking about her original due date (March 15) and how we still could have had another week or so before we got to meet her.  God had different plans, and we have been able to enjoy our little girlie for over two weeks already.

Joe went back to work on Thursday. When he gets home Jillian is happy to see her daddy. And I am happy to see my hubby

Miss Jillian has been to the pediatrician twice. Once for her after being release from the hospital check up, and today for a weight check. She is back up to her birth weight, 4 lbs 9oz. Dr. MacRitchie says she is doing fine, but wants to see her back for another weight check next week. Our little bean is growing

So we wake up this morning to see what out our window by the front door…

I have decided that aliens abducted our garbage cans and left them on the street when they realized they weren’t alive. That is up there on my bizarre-o-meter.
