Ahhh Christmas, whatever happened to that?

OK, let me start off by saying that vacation is awesome. Seriously, how often do I use our site for actually blogging? Most of the time it’s just youtube findings. Especially vacation during which I don’t have to do anything except the honey-do’s. Right now I’m just sitting here in front of the fire and the Christmas tree with Kinglsey, with my feet up and a cup of hot apple cider. Mmmm. Awesome.

So getting to the point, is it Christmas already? Whatever happened to the days when Christmas seemed like it was eons away? Whatever happened to getting so excited for Christmas that I put up lights right after Thanksgiving dinner? Not to mention making a Christmas list so long that it required several sheets of paper. Anymore it seems like Christmas has become just another time of the year. And then I thought to myself, you know what? Christmas is what you make it. If I want to get excited about Christmas and go bananas with Christmas lights, why not? What’s stopping me? Nothing except this mentality that I can’t do anything about the way I feel. So to you all, I say Merry Christmas, and thanks very much for caring enough to read this all the way to the bottom. : D

Christmas movie quote trivia, “Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?” Winner gets a hypothetical high five.

Surviving the Axe

Yep, I survived the axe for now. AmTrust has started laying off workers, and hopefully the bank can show that it has more cash on hand before Dec 31st. Either way, I’m planning to get my MCSE before Jan 1. Whatever God has in store will be good enough for me.

I also got to see the fam during the Thanksgiving weekend, which was really nice. Check out the “Family” picture.

Hello!

We switched our blog! We decided we needed something easier to manage and wordpress was the way to go for us. As we prepare for out little one we wanted to get a fresh new blog set up so we can share our family with our friends and family.

Below this post are our old blog posts from when we had separate blogs. Unfortunately, we are unable to import our posts from our original combined blog :(   But this is our new page, so let more blogging begin!
