Honeymoon

Joe and I have been married just over a month and I never blogged about our honeymoon. We went to Riviera Maya, Cancun. This was recommended by my grandparents, some friends of the family and a few random people we came across before we were married. It is a nice place and we have fun, but I don’t think I care to go back to this particular resort. Don’t get me wrong, it was beautiful, but I’m not much for just laying around in the sun by a pool. I realize that sounds crazy! I do enjoy relaxing for a bit in the sun near the water, but I like to be a tourist and not just stay at the resort all day everyday. We could have taken excursions, but we bought a Wii instead, so I guess that is our own fault for staying at the resort all day, everyday. Oh well. Joe and I had an all inclusive package, which was amazing-drink and eat whenever without spending money on the spot definitely is a treat. It was nice to have a care free week following the stress of the wedding. I’m feeling I’m in need of another vacation already with the stress of work!

Beautiful Sunrise!

Joe loved the food.

I was disgusted by some of it- haha.

Walk Now For Autism

On September 30th Joe and I will be walking in the Cleveland “Walk Now For Autism.” I am super excited for the event, but sadly we will miss church. The families that I work with will be there along with many of my coworkers. It should be a very enjoyable afternoon. If you would like to learn more please check out My Autism Speaks Web Page. This event is an outstanding cause, like so many others. It is vitally important to keep the research on Autism going, great strides have been made and so many children have benefited greatly.
