I laugh too hard at this. Maybe it’s because I’m a geek, maybe it’s because it’s the only funny mac spoof out there.

Happy Thanksgiving from the angry cat!!

It’s been a busy few weeks for sure! Two weekends ago Joe and I drove to IL for the weekend to visit friends. We started out Friday afternoon, picked up Mark at Valpo and ended at Wheaton College to see Wes’ show: Picasso at the Lapin Agile. It was an enjoyable 7 hours trip, and Joe and I got some wedding planning done. Once in IL however, the weather got rainy and cold, and stupid me did not bring a winter coat. This was quite a big mistake since it ended up being very chilly the whole weekend. Anyway, after the show Mark, Wes, Joe and I went and got some food and then spent the evening at Wes’ apartment watching The Office. Saturday morning we went to Egglectic for breakfast/lunch. It was a quiant little restaurant, unique to downtown Wheaton. Saturday afternoon we checked Joe into his hotel and later on we met my friend Melissa for a little shopping and dinner. It was so wonderful visiting with Melissa!!! I haven’t seen her for several months now which is quite difficult since we spent so much time in college hanging out- I was seriously over in her apartment almost every evening. Melissa and I had a great time on Sunday- went to church at Willow Creek, which is the biggest church I have ever seen! And we spend the rest of the day shopping, with a detour back to Joe’s hotel because I left a very important folder containing my research project in his car. That evening Melissa and I watched RENT, which I found be a rather good movie-the music is great! Monday morning I made my way back to Ohio. Melissa drove me to the airpost, and funny enough we spent more time driving to the airport than my flight back to Cleveland took- haha. It was definitely a weekend of relaxation and recuperating from a crazy few weeks of classes.

Losing your wallet has it’s perks. Like making the lady at the BMV actually smile. Apparently the only rule is you must look forward. Cool by me. I welcome your comments.

By the way…the engagement post is coming, I need to gather media. Relax.

Gotta go fishin’. So I really love goldfish crackers. They are pretty much the best snack ever made in my opinion. It is currently after 2am Monday morning and I get a little sidetracked when I am up this late. I was eating some goldfish crackers, and they were quite tasty. The gran and gramps and brought me a large box of them and sadly the bag in which they were in ripped and I had to give the goldfish a new home. So here is my tribute to my favorite snack.

My goodness, this semester is starting to kill me. I have never in my college career been this stressed and overwhelmed with work, and yet, I am posting on my blog. Good use of time or what? I have more research projects/papers than anyone should ever have at one time, and it makes we want to finish school and not go back. But the truth is I must go to grad school or my chances of using my degree are slim to none. I suppose this semester is preparing me for worse things that I will most likely come across as I continue my studies next fall.
